This experience takes you easily and seamlessly from Bergen or Oslo to the hiking icon Trolltunga. Not only that, but you can also choose how you want to reach the top!
Tour description
Your hiking adventure from Bergen starts by taking a coastal express cruise to Rosendal, a charming village surrounded by majestic mountains in the Hardangerfjord. From Rosendal you continue by taking a scenic bus trip along the Hardangerfjord to the fjord village of Odda. Here, an overnight stay is required and after a good night's sleep you are ready for your hiking adventure! You can choose between two great hiking options:
Classic Trolltunga Hike
The Classic Trolltunga Hike starts by taking a bus from Odda to Skjeggedal, where you meet your guide and start preparing for the tour. After some preparations, you travel to Mågelitopp, where the actual hike starts. The hike from Mågelitopp to Trolltunga offers stunning views of the Folgefonna Glacier and the beautiful Ringedalsvatnet.
Trolltunga Via Ferrata
If you are more of a thrill-seeker, the Trolltunga Via Ferrata route is the best option for you. This experience will definitely get your heart beating with adrenaline as you scale a 250-meter wall to get to Trolltunga!
This option also starts by taking a bus from Odda to Skjeggedal, where you meet your guide and get the necessary instructions. You will then go on a bicycle ride along the Ringedal lake and continue with a hike up to the start of the Via Ferrata route. You will then scale the Via Ferrata route and reach Trolltunga and where you can marvel at the views and say "I made it"!
Starting points and travel options
You start this tour from either Oslo or Bergen. When starting from Oslo you travel to Bergen by train the first day and continue the tour as described above. You can see all your options in the tour booking process.
