On the The Pulpit Rock & Norway in a nutshell® you can really spoil yourself with fjord cruises in the magnificent Lysefjord, scenic rail journeys, city breaks and some of Norway's most beautiful fjord scenery. You can also add a stunning hike to Norway’s world wonder of a cliff, the Pulpit Rock.
This tour can be started in Oslo, Bergen or Stavanger and be taken as a round trip with return to your starting destination, or as a one-way trip from Oslo and Stavanger. There are several different variations of the tour, and in the booking process you choose whether to include a Lysefjorden cruise or a fjord cruise and a Pulpit Rock hiking trip!
The Lysefjorden fjordcruise gives you magnificent views to the Pulpit Rock, which towers 604 meters above the fjord. The hiking trip to the top of the Pulpit rock takes about two hours each way. Reaching the Pulpit Rock by foot gives you the opportunity to stand on top of the mighty mountain plateau and see the narrow Lysefjorden below.
And if all this isn't enough, the tour also takes you on our famous Norway in a nutshell® trip. Here you will travel through some of Norway's most beautiful fjord scenery and experience the scenic Bergen Railway, the breathtaking Flåm Railway, the Aurlandsfjord and the narrow Nærøyfjord on a fjord cruise.
