The 179 km. long Hardangerfjord offers scenery that will spellbind even the most seasoned traveller with cultural and natural gems around each corner.
Your trip from Oslo starts on the scenic Bergen Railway. You can either choose to disembark at Voss, where an overnight stay is required, or travel all the way to Bergen on the first day. From Voss, the tour continues by bus to the beautiful village of Ulvik. If you’re lucky enough to be here in May, you will see the fruit trees in full blossom. From Ulvik, the trip continues by boat to Eidfjord where you will experience a sightseeing trip to one of Norway’s largest and most famous waterfalls, Vøringsfossen, as well as a visit to the Norwegian Nature Centre in Hardanger.
The trip continues with a beautiful boat trip to Norheimsund, where a bus will be waiting to take you to Bergen. You will pass the cascading Steinsdalsfossen waterfall on the way.
You can choose to travel all the way to Bergen on the first day, where an overnight stay is required. The following day you continue the tour as described above in the opposite direction. As a round trip via Voss with return to Oslo, you travel back to Oslo from Bergen on the Bergen Railway.
